As the night neared, Tony Robbins then taught us that we could do anything and made us say “Yes” for many times and I personally could feel the confidence level in myself building and I could do anything. He also made every celebrate from a level 10 level to increase to a level 70 level.

He then asked everyone to relax and he did some positive programming. Later he asked us to stand and to shout and say “Yes!” We said yes for many times and then he introduced the much anticipated firewalk. When he showed everyone the hot burning fire and charcoal that was burning outside, I could sense that some of the people in the hall were starting to panic and feel fear. But Tony immediately responded and he made us say “Yes!” “Yes!” “Yes!” “Yes!” “Yes!” Then, I could sense the atmosphere calmed down awhile.
He then moved on and taught us the 5 steps to how to walk on fire.
- Walk at a steady and constant pace- We should not run as some people may trip and fall. When hot burning charcoal touches the face, trust me, it will not be a pleasant experience.
- Look straight and up- We should not look down and walk as we will focus less on walking and more on where we would be stepping on thus, losing our focus.
- Say “cool moss”- We need to say “cool moss ” as we walk so that when we walk on fire, it would feel like cool moss and not hot at all.
- Wipe your feet- We need to do this so that the small charcoal pieces would not get stuck onto our feet.
- Celebrate- We should celebrate as we have completed something amazing.
My Personal Experience
I went to Tony Robbins’ seminar with a mindset to walk on the fire. So I already know my outcome but I didn’t know how hot it would have felt. Before the walk, while queuing up in line to walk , I felt a little fearful but Tony Robbins was there and he conditioned us that we could walk. He asked us to do our move and say “Yes!”. So, before I walked the crew members encourage me and made me to do my ‘move’. After that, I walked. The 1st step was not that hot as I did everything Tony Robbins asked us to do when we walked on fire. I said “cool moss” “cool moss” “cool moss”. Somewhere in the middle of the path, I lost focus and I did not say “cool moss” thus, I could feel some pain. But after the walk, I wiped my feet and I stood stationary awhile and start to feel my peak state. This is necessary as I need to remember how I felt at peak state so that I could change into it as and when I needed to.
